The Ministry of Education's first Library Career Contribution Award- Benchmark

We won the Ministry of Education's first Library Career Contribution Award- Benchmark Library Award and it's the only award-winning high school in Taiwan. The library has four innovative features, which are the curriculum research and development center, the cradle of self-learning, the international exchange platform, and the local creation base. We continuously research and develop new syllabus quality-oriented courses, also won the competition results of New Taipei City and the Ministry of Education, also responsible for the promotion and operation of self-leaming. Students finish exclusive learning results in three years of senior high school, and actively conduct course exchanges and mutual visits with the United States, Canada, Denmark, Japan, South Korea and other countries to actively expand students' vision, and eventually lead students to discover the local DNA, and then combine the San-Xia cultural and creative design of tea dyeing culture. We are Looking forward to cultivating students to become the seeds of future creation through practical participation.

The Ministry of Education's Reading Rock-solid Excellent School

The reading plan of our school. "We read. We think. We share.” has won the title of New Taipei City and the Ministry of Education's Reading Rock-solid Excellent School in 2021. Starting from enriching "learning ability" and cultivating "speculative ability”, make good use of "questioning, speculative, and topical" quality-oriented curriculum design. After five years of battling in Yuanshan and training in the underworld, we guided the young people in Yuanshan to appreciate the four major reading secrets, established excellent reading literacy and issue exploration ability, and showed fruitful learning results in the education examination, and won the New Taipei City Academic Award for two consecutive years UP added the first place in Group A, which also opened up a different learning landscape for students.

Ministry of Education Teaching Excellence Award and Silver Award

The courses of "Dye your blue with tea aroma fingering in Sanxia". Won the title of New Taipei City and Ministry of Education Teaching Excellence Award and also Silver Award in 2021. After seven years of refining the compulsory courses, the teacher team guides students to explore the local cultural, and go deep into the two major industries of tea and dyeing, from discovering problems, formulating strategies, taking actions, and finally reflecting and giving feedback. The course design spans six major fields and combines exploration and practice which leads students to participate in local creation, and contributes to the promotion of the real estate industry through marketing design and international exchanges. This is not only fully conforms to the new curriculum quality-oriented concept but also transformed into a unique learning journey for students.

Our Required Courses

The creation of the tea country map is through the collective efforts of the group from visits and in-depth interviews to drawing by hand. The process is hard, but the result is sweet. We still remember that in order to complete the illustrations of each scenic spot, we met in the library together during the holidays. We are also very happy that our works have become a publicity product for the 120th anniversary of the Sanxia District Farmers' Association. Moreover, this map has been digitized, combined with the overlapping of GIS layers to show the changes of time and space, and the introduction of each scenic spot is also linked with our interviews. I am looking forward to watching these efforts can do contribution to the tea industry of the Sanxia district. All of these have also become an unforgettable learning journey for us.
